Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It grows when we choose to try, even when we’re unsure of the outcome. Every time you take action despite self-doubt, you reinforce the belief that you’re capable. Confidence isn’t about having all the answers — it’s about trusting that you can figure it out along the way.

The key to making things happen isn’t waiting for the perfect moment; it’s starting with what you have, where you are. Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed all at once, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. Whether you’re working toward a personal milestone or a professional dream, progress comes from showing up — not perfectly, but persistently. Action creates clarity, and over time, those steps forward add up to something real.

You don’t need to be fearless to reach your goals, you just need to be willing. Willing to try, willing to learn, and willing to believe that you’re capable of more than you know. The road may not always be smooth, but growth rarely is. What matters most is that you keep going, keep learning, and keep believing in the version of yourself you’re becoming.

Buenos Aires Shopping

Confidence doesn’t always arrive with a bold entrance. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It grows when we choose to try, even when we’re unsure of the outcome.

Corso Buenos Aires is Milan’s longest shopping street, cutting through the city center from north-east and leading in one straight diagonal from Central Station Area directly to Porta Venezia, San Babila and the Duomo.
You can’t get lost here, you just keep walking and in roughly 40 minutes you’ll find yourself in front of our Cathedral.

With over 350 shops and outlets, it is one of the lengthiest retail avenues in Europe;
so if you live in the nearby it’s literally impossible to come back home empty handed, especially because besides high-end boutiques and designer brands (check out our favourite, Twinset, but also Liu Jo and San Pietro Concept Store) and some beautiful old shops such as Mutinelli (gorgeous handmade hats, a company dating back to 1888), its appeal is about its budget-friendly department stores, walk-in street-food parlours, bookstores and fast fashion brands such as Zara, H&M, Sisley, Mango and more.

Basically, it’s a real open-air shopping mall.
If you ask us, we personally have a Reluctant Appreciation / Fond Annoyance relationship with the high-street.

It’s always busy. It’s always fast. It can be crowded, polluted, and noisy. Absolutely.
But it’s also colourful, and lively, any day or time of the year.
Which also makes it safe, cause you’ll never walk alone.
And it’s handy, cause no matter what you fancy, or need, be it a band-aid at 1am, an ice-cream for breakfast, a new pair of second-hand jeans or a last-minute designer outfit to go out for dinner, you will find it in a few minutes radius.

Yes, you WILL spend money here.
So, along the years we have developped a smart trick.
We don’t own the rights of the trick, as we imagine that all residents of the area do the same, so we feel confident in sharing it with you.

Here goes the trick: no walking A to B along the Corso, no sir. Never.
You need to buy a new basket bin from Muji? You slowly stroll down leafy and peaceful viale Morgagni which runs parallel and is home to 1 single shop, (Filodipota Plants & Flowers , very beautiful, btw); when you reach the height of Muji you quickly, absent-mindedly zip into Via Redi and voilà, you are in the shop, out of the shop and (now the difficult part) you will go back from where you came. No diversions, no “quickly checking nearby”.
And so on, you just need to memorise the map and shortcuts and you can replicate the trick for each single shop.

Clever, right? :)
As if.
